Battle line boulder marking the line where the Minute Men stood. The boulder reads, "Line of the Minute Men. April 19, 1775. Stand your ground don't fire unless fire upon but if they mean to have a war let it begin here. Captain Parker." There are buildings, utility poles, and trees in the background. Snow is on the ground. There are light streaks at the bottom of the negative.
Text from negative sleeve: 435. Eastern trip, 1914. Boston and vicinity. The street car to Lexington and Concord. An old cemetery near the road in Concord. The village green at Lexington, and monument where the shot was fire that was heard around the world. 3 negatives.
