Two women walk down Fifth Avenue past the New York Public Library. A corner of the library building can be seen at the left of the photograph. The women wear coats and hats. One has her hands in a muff and the other holds hers. A man in a hat, coat, and scarf walks behind them. There are stone steps and a stone railing at the left, as well as trees. Building stretch down the block behind them.
Text from negative sleeve: 451. East. New York. 1914. See #450. Went over to the Public Library on Fifth Ave and took a couple of pictures. 2. 3 pictures of pedestrians on Fifth Ave. One shows the big buses that they were running up and down the Avenue. 5 negatives.
