The Niagara River extends from the lower right corner, through the center of the photograph. A snow covered road lined with utility poles and lines runs along the left side of the image.
Text from negative sleeve: 453. East. Niagara Falls. 1914. January. Crossed to the Canadian side and took the 4 pictures enclosed. One of them xxx [crossed out] shows the Canadian soldiers marching in the snow. They did not stop my use of the camera anywhere. Lots different in this war now (1942). 4 negatives
