Photograph, from left to right, of Elizabeth West and Wilf Cline riding aboard a bait boat on a fishing excursion in Hermosa Beach. They are viewed from above. Elizabeth sits in the lower left corner. Her body faces left, but her head is turned to look towards the camera. Wilf lounges behind her at center. He faces towards the left and gazes out towards the ocean. Behind him stands a mast and rigging. In the foreground at center, a hand holds onto a white fedora. The ocean expands into the background.
Text from negative sleeve: 579. Hermosa Beach, Calif. About 1920. I took Wilf Cline and Elizabeth West out on a bait boat to fish. Wilf got sick, but came to when we commenced to catch mackerel fast. 2 negatives
