Ade Bystle is Adolph Bystle, a cousin of H. H. West's first wife, Mary. James and Charles "Mack" Bidwell were brothers and also relatives of Mary West.
James Bidwell, Charles "Mack" Bidwell, and Adolph Bystle stand next to a log cabin. All three men wear hats. There is a table with a bucket and other objects on it next to James.
Text from negative sleeve: 1007. Shasta County trip 1915. Logan Lake log cabin, our headquarters for the deer hunt. Mack Bidwell got one doe and Ade Bystel got one buck? He knocked over another buck and we thot [sic] it was dead, but before we could get to it, it got up and ran away. Was evidently hit on the horn and stunned. L to R: Jim Bidwell, Mack Bidwell, Ade Bystle. 2 negatives.
