Wilf Cline (right) sits in the backseat and turns his head to look back towards the camera. Camping gear is rigged to the back of the vehicle. In the background, a couple buildings stand on the far side of the street behind H. H. West's Buick and Harry Schmitz. At left, a five-and-dime store stands. A car (partial view) is parked in front of it at left and a woman walks towards the right beneath the store's portico. A vertically oriented sign on one of its columns reads, "5 · 10 · 15 ¢ STOR[E]." A taller building stands to the right. At the top of the building, lettering in the pediment reads, "IO OP 18 88." Text from negative sleeve: 1010. Trinity Co. trip 1917. Red Bluff.
