Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of H. H. West, Harry Schmitz and Wilfrid Cline, Jr.'s campsite near Burney Falls, viewed at a distance. Their campsite is set up around two tall pines that stand left-of-center in the near distance. Camping gear and wood are piled in front of and between the two trees. From the tree at left, a clothesline stretches back to a tree the stands along the left edge of the image. Clothes hang from the line. A tent is pitched at center and to the immediate right of the tree at right. Parked to the right of the tent is a car. It is viewed at an angle from the side and the rear; it faces towards the right. Tents are visible behind the car. Pine trees stand in the background. Text from negative sleeve: 1025. Trinity County trip 1917. Burney Falls, Calif. 1.
