The barnyard stretches across the foreground to where the cars sit in the distance. H. H. West's Buick is parked at center and sits nearer to camera than the other two. All three cars are viewed from the side and face to the left. John Bidwell's house stands, left-of-center, behind the cars. It is viewed from the side. A smaller building stands to the left of it and extends beyond the left frame. Trees stand in the background at right. Text from negative sleeve: 1038. Trinity County trip, 1917. Cayton P.O.
