Description

Its shoreline stretches from the lower right on an upward angle to the left and into the distance. Hotel Tallac stands on the shoreline, right-of-center, to the right of Lake Tahoe. It is viewed from the front and the side. A porch wraps around the second floor of the hotel. Pines also line the shore. A mountain stands in the far distance at left. Text on negative sleeve: 1094. Smith West tour 1913. Lake Tahoe. At Tallac. Had my brakes relined here. Ate supper in the hotel, and rented a couple cabins to sleep in for the night. Too tired to camp. 1. Hotel Tallac on the South shore. 2. Dave and I hired an Indian to take us out fishing the next morning. Think Dave caught one, but we bought two more from an Indian fishing near us. Dave F.
