Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds.
Man stands at the Iowa Picnic in Lincoln Park. He wears a hat and a three-piece suit. A woman sits on a bench in the foreground. She looks to the right and wears a hat. There is a register on a wooden plank which is balanced on the back of the bench. Other people are in the background, as are trees.
Though the negative sleeve indicates that this is an image of Alice Baltzell Tibbetts speaking to Mr. Tuttle, Mrs. Tibbetts is not visible in this photograph, nor are two people talking. Therefore the description has been disregarded.
Text from negative sleeve: 1364. Iowa State picnic, Lincoln Park, Los Angeles, Feb. 24, 1940. 1. Ralph Hiatt in rear looking into camera. Others unknown. 2. Vertical film. L to R: Alice Baltzell Tibbets [sic] talking to Mr Tuttle. 3. Large film of an unknown man. 3 films.
