H. H. West's brother, Guy, poses in the library of the West's house with his cousin, William Mead. Guy has his hands in his pockets and he wears a striped sweater. William sits sideways in the rocker with a leg over one arm. There is a sofa at the left. Pictures hang on the walls, and a bow and arrow hangs at the left. There is a fireplace on the back wall with pictures and other items on the mantel and above. Guy stands on a small rug. There is a footstool at the right and behind that, a small table with a vase on it.
