Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of the front exterior of H. H. West, Jr.'s quarters at Fort Mears, viewed at an angle and looking into the interior. The Quonset hut is viewed at a tilted angle from the front. The door to the barracks stands open at center. A bed is visible just beyond the door, inside the structure. The rest of the interior is covered in shadow. Windows sit in partial view on either side of the door. On the window frame at right, a number plate reads, "24," and next to the door frame it reads, "K-5." A pile of snow abuts the front of the Quonset hut on the right side of the door.
