According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white.
Photograph, from left to right, of the West's taxi driver and Mertie West looking at the totem poles in Saxman Totem Park from the road. Mertie West and the taxi driver stand in the foreground, right-of-center, with their backs to the camera. A road passes beneath them on a slight upward angle from right to left. Beyond Mertie and the taxi driver, Saxman Totem Park stands in the near distance. A totem pole to the left of the duo rises and extends beyond the top edge. Another totem pole stands further back in the park. It rises between Mertie and the driver. In the far distance, mountains stand in the background.
