Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of a Native American chief's home in Saxton, as viewed at an angle from the street. The street slices through the foreground on a slight upward angle along the bottom edge and past the lower left corner. Foliage covers a hillside that rises at right. A dilapidated 2-story home stands left-of-center. It is viewed at an angle from the front and the side; it faces left. A porch juts from the front of the house. Some of the wood slats are missing along the right side of the house. In front of the house, a totem pole with 3 carved bird figures and another carved animal figure stands along the road. A telephone pole stands to the left of it along the left edge. Neighboring houses stand in partial view behind and to the left of the house. Tree-covered mountains rise in the background.
