Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of beach cottages on Mildred Avenue in Venice, as viewed from across a parking lot. The dirt and gravel lot stretches across the foreground and mid-ground. At the far end of the lot, a few cottages stand. The nearest cabin at left stands 2-stories tall and is viewed at an angle from the side; it faces left. A sign posted beside the cottage reads, "NO FREE PARKING." Behind or to the right of it, another cottage stands. It stands one-story tall and appears to face towards the right. Ivy crawls along its near left corner. A cabin stands further back behind and between the 2 near cabins. Other small dwellings are visible along the left edge. Two, larger buildings stand in the background. Opaque, white bands originate from the lower left and lower right corners and stretch upwards along their respective edges. Text from negative sleeve: 2386.
