Along the right edge, a woman stands in profile, facing left. Between a gap in the standing passengers, other passengers sit on a bench that extends back through center and towards the side of the ship. About four women sit in a row on this bench, including Mertie West. Mertie West sits second from the back. All the women face left. The ocean is visible in the background.
