The camera looks east and down at Hollywood Boulevard during the American Legion's parade and convention. Color bearers carry American flags as they march in lines towards the camera. Along the right edge, from front to back, the Hollywood Masonic Temple and the El Capitain Theatre line the south side of Hollywood Boulevard. The parade along Hollywood Boulevard stretches into the distance at center. In the background at left, the Hollywood First National Bank Building rises. These color bearers, slightly out of uniform but none the less aware of the patriotic significance of the flags waving in the breeze above their heads, led thousands of their comrades yesterday in a spectacular parade down Hollywood Boulevard.
