Osa Johnson is appearing in court to claim $716, 539 in damages for the injuries she received during the fatal plane crash that cost her husband his life in Newhall Pass on January 12, 1937. The actions are being taken against Western Air Express Corp., United Airport Co. of California, Ltd., airplane pilot W. W. Lewis and airport ground technicians Ernest N. Whitney and Kenneth M.
