Photograph of an exterior view of an old City Hall building in Los Angeles, 1858. The two story building can be seen at center. It is a long, narrow building with rows of large windows. A small cupola with a clock can be seen on the roof of the building at center. The wall of another building can be seen in the background at right, while a pedestrian and a horse-drawn wagon can be seen in the foreground. This building was built as a market in 1858.
