Missionær, Agronom Grethe Kock. Udsendt af Dansk Santalmission/Danmission til Joint Christian Service/JCS i Mongoliet, 1995-2007. Arbejdsområder, 1995-98: Udvikling/forbedring af gedeavl i samarbejde med Landbrugsministeriet i Ulaanbaatar, samt engelskundervisning af studerende/ansatte. Desuden arbejde med cellegrupper og ledertræning i den nationale kirke. Efter orlov og studieophold i USA vendte Grethe Kock i 1999 tilbage, for sammen med flere missionærer at starte et projekt med fokus på forbedring af livsbetingelser for fattige hyrdefamilier i Gobi-Altaiprovinsen. I projektet indgik bl.a. undervisning i husdyrhold, udvikling af bedre afgrøder, oprettelse af landsbykomiteer og aftaler om mikrolån. Alt sammen for at fremme samarbejde om bæredygtige løsninger, baseret i lokalsamfundet

Description
Missionary, Agronomist Grethe Kock. Dispatched by Danish Santalmission / Danmission to Joint Christian Services / JCS in Mongolia, 1995-2007. Work, 1995-98: The development / improvement of goat farming in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture in Ulaanbaatar, as well as English teaching of students / employees. In addition, working with cell groups and leadership training in the national church. After leave and study in the USA turned Grethe Kock in 1999 back, along with several missionaries to start a project with a focus on improving living conditions for poor herding families in the Gobi Altaiprovinsen. The project included among others training in animal husbandry, development of improved crops, creating village committees and micro-credit agreements. All to promote cooperation on sustainable solutions, based in the community.
