Description
A woman and child get food from a stand at the Golden Mall. The man on the left is likely Morey Goodstein, owner of Golden Mall mainstay, Morey’s Shoes. A poster reading “Mike McDonald For Your City Council” is visible in the window. According to the Los Angeles Times, Mike McDonald was a former Los Angeles Rams center who had attended Burbank’s John Burroughs High School. He unsuccessfully ran for Burbank City Council in 1987. From notes on negative sleeve: “2-87 Library” and “BV Library”.
