Description
Burbank mayor Mary Kelsey prepares to cut the ribbon at Palm Ave. and San Fernando Blvd. at the Golden Mall. The Golden Mall, a pedestrian mall since 1967, was then in the process of being reopened to auto traffic. Two men hold a sign reading "Palm Avenue Opening, Phase 1, Golden Mall Improvement Program, December 11, 1986." Dotty Lee dress shop is visible on the corner.
