This 1952 Superintendent's Annual Report documents the Sacramento City Unified School District's (SCUSD) academic year of 1951-1952. At this time the SCUSD superintendent was William J. Burkhard and the Board of Education president was Mrs. J.F. Didion. This annual report includes four separate reports that were published during the 1951-1952 academic year: No. 1 Education for Severely Mentally Retarded Children, No. 2 Education for Good Citizenship in Sacramento Schools, No. 3 Reading: The Foundation Work in the Language Arts Stressed in Sacramento, and No. 4 Statistical Summaries and Vital Information for 1951-1952.
