Photograph caption dated June 4, 1957 reads, "Little David Allan Siddon, 2 1/2, splashes happily in his plastic wading pool in front of his home, 7461 Capistrano Ave., Canoga Park. While young David was cooling off, temperature soared to highest this year - a scorching 107. More heat is in store for Valley."
