Description
Connie and David begin the interview discussing the importance of taking care of the planet for the future before moving into a discussion of the book’s characters and plot. They proceed to discuss how the book weaves environmental issues into the narrative and how his other books explore environmental topics, as well, before returning to the novel’s characters and their encountering environmental dilemmas in the narrative. David then reads a passage from the book and discusses its film possibilities, and Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
