Description: Image of people riding the Sea Serpent roller coaster and Sea Spin ride at the Pacific Ocean Amusement Park at Ocean Park in Santa Monica, California, in 1958. The Ocean Skyway bubble cars are riding along a cable above the park at center and the Santa Monica Pier and beach clubs are in the distance.
This is a copy negative (a photograph of another photograph). "Pacific Ocean Park POP 1958"--note from donor Ernest Marquez written on envelope in which the negative was received. Title and date based on note. Image reproduced in Ernest Marquez publication Santa Monica Beach (Angel City Press, 2004), p. 191.
