Description
Members of the Adcock family on their property in Alisal, an area east of Salinas and now part of Salinas. Pictured from left to right: Patricia Jane Adcock Garlinger; Robert Wiren Adcock; and Geraldine Louise Adcock. The dog in the lower right corner was named Didzy. Photograph dates from the lated 1920s to early 1930s. Digital Photo only collected as part of a 2011 Salinas Public Library program about Alisal, a community to the east of Salinas, California. : Panel included: Joanne Adcock Schmidt, Bill Ramsey, Bonnie Wright Alvarado, Nell Marie (DeNoon) Gardner, and Virginia Rocca Barton. Other speakers included: Mayor Dennis Donohue and Mona Gudgel. Facilitators: Brian Kimura and Don Gardner. Special appearance by: Larry Hosford.
