Photograph caption dated April 12, 1958 reads "Baker Tony Mazzaro, left, and Jack Ciapa, owner of Sherman Oaks bakery, inspect damage inflicted by explosion which rocked building as they attempted to light huge oven. There were no injuries, but blast knocked out bakery's plate glass window. Damage estimate was $1,000."
