Photograph was edited for publication purposes; The photograph was also used in an article dated July 11, 1961. The article partially reads, "Mrs. Miller, 19400 Ingomar St., Reseda, is concurrently president of the West Valley Homeowners Protective Association, Inc.., and of the Federation of Valley Property Owners, Inc. The latter office fell to her last week in a general election and reorganization of the association." Photograph article dated November 10, 1960 partially reads, "Mrs. Miller is president of the West Valley Property Owners Protective Association, Inc....does most of the administrative work of the association from her home at 19400 Ingamar [sic] St., Reseda...The association was organized in late 1952 to specifically fight proposed industrial zoning for Northridge. Other communities got interested in the battle being waged by the group and joined in. At the time of its incorporation as a non-profit organization in early 1953, the association counted 2,000 persons as members. So, under the same charter it broke the unwieldy organization down into splinter community groups, Mrs. Miller said. In 1958 the Federation of Valley Property Owners, Inc., was incorporated as a rallying point for all the small groups, including Mrs. Miller's West Valley association." Mrs. Miller's address should read, 19400 Ingomar Street. Seen in the photograph is Miller's daughter, Carrie.
