Description
On this black and white page of The Delineator, nine women display views of fashionable summer straw hats. The grouping of photographs, some square, some oval, and numbered 7 through 15, are composed in a garland around one woman in the center who faces directly out at the viewer. Climbing up around and in between the photographs are black and white illustrations of twining roses and leaves. The elaborate straw hats are decorated with bows, ribbons, berries, or roses. The women wear high necked blouses, some with ribbon and lace detailing, one with a pearl choker, while the woman in the center wears a ruffled boa.
