Photograph caption dated March 26, 1959 reads, "Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Irelan, 11104 Weddington Ave., North Hollywood, comfort five of their nine children, who underwent tonsillectomies at Victory Hospital. While their four brothers and sisters waited at home, these five were patients one after another. 'They said they'd rather have it done now than during summer vacation,' Mrs. Irelan said. Children, from left, are Frank, 13, Pamela, 6; Rex, 10; Judith, 13, and Dale, 8. Irelan is employed at Lockheed Missile Plant."
