Photograph caption dated November 12, 1956 reads "Joyce Snow, 11, of 9024 Hayvenhurst St., Northridge, is comforted by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Snow at Northridge Receiving Hospital where youngster was taken after she fell 40 feet from Stony Point in Chatsworth while hiking. Rescuers worked two hours to rescue her from rugged terrain. She suffered broken arm and possible back injuries."
