Description
Scene of United States Air Force Major General Carl Brown McDaniel (left) speaking with an unknown military officer (right) at Mather Air Force Base. McDaniel served as the Commander of Mather AFB and the Commanding General for the Aerial Observer Bombardier School from 1947 to 1950. The 3535th Navigator Training Wing supervised AOBS training at Mather along with navigator training until 1973. Taken circa 1949.
