Description
Elaborately carved wood parlor organ, model 4793 as shown on a label inside the top, which lifts to reveal the interior. There are 7 stops, or drawknobs, above the keyboard. The two on the left are lebeled Atheria, Viola; three in the middle: Diapason, Dep Humana, Melodia; and the two on the right: Celest, Piano.The foot pedals are covered with the original flower-patterned embroidery, and each side has a handle for lifting. Manufacturer's label lists address as 508-510 Main Street, Quincy, which dates the company's location to between 1868 and early 1880s.
