Description: Pedestrians, horse drawn vehicles and an automobile pass in front of the San Jose Safe Deposit Bank. Founded in 1885, the bank stood at the southeast corner of First and Santa Clara Streets. The bank was demolished in 1925 and the Bank of Italy constructed in its place.
