Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated August 19, 1963 reads "Any original oil can be executed in 20 minutes, says Lomond." The article partially reads "Give Britt Lomond 20 minutes and he'll paint you a 20-by-48 inch oil of New York's Manhattan Island skyline. Repeat: 20 minutes. And comes (sic) this fall, Lomond, working out of his North Hollywood studio on the second floor of an inconspicuous building on Magnolia Blvd., says he will begin producing 15,000 oil paintings at the rate of 1,000 every six weeks. Lomond is in the business of fast painting for profit."
