Relics of the colorful days of early California will be exhibited on February 21, 1940, at the Friday Morning Clubhouse. They are being inspected by Mrs. Ana Begue Packman, at left, and Mrs. Dexter Den Monroe, in costume. Mrs. Packman is holding two old knives, one owned by Tiburcio Vasquez, notorious bandit. On it are nine notches, indicating that nine men were killed with it. The other is a Moorish knife.
