Description: Shown is the Daily Medical Report for Camp Sutter Fort, recorded on May 4, 1906. After San Francisco's 1906 earthquake, Sacramento offered to support homeless men and women by providing housing and work. Men who were unable to work due to age or injury were taken to Camp Sutter Fort for care.
