23-year-old Reinwald, secretary to the supervisor and foreman of operations at the Northrop plant in Iglewood, was crowned queen of the company's Mardi Gras Ball and Carnival. In addition to crowning Reinwald, Cooper gave her a congratulationary kiss.
Photograph caption dated June 8, 1944 reads, "Later on the North American queen got a kiss."
