Description
The late-1920s view looks north on Garfield Avenue from Colorado Street. Parked cars line the street, evidence of the importance that the automobile had now taken in Pasadena life. While residents could and still did get around the city by walking or taking streetcars, private automobiles were an increasingly popular alternative.
