Brandon, dentist and mayor of Burbank, is justifiably proud of Burbank's civic record as he begins the third month of 'the first political office to which I have ever aspired.' Brandon, who was elected early in May, cited the fact that Burbank has the third lowest tax rate of all Los Angeles County cities. The tax rate of $1.48 per $100 assessed value will be maintained in the coming fiscal year for the fourth consecutive year."
