Here is a typical typing class at the California Institution for Women. The school goes from first grade (some of the girls who come there can't read or write) through high school. At times even junior college classes are taught. Some of the teachers are from the Chino Unified School District and high school diplomas to the graduates are issued from this district. The other teachers are part of the staff at the institution, (paid by them). Photo dated: July 14, 1954.
