Hanscom, The Hope Iron Works, at Minnesota and Santa Clara Streets, Portrero, manufacturer of Vertical Steam Engines for every desired purpose...having fitted these works with the best tools in the United States, with special reference to engine work, I am prepared to do better and cheaper work than any other..." Also includes an advertisement and map of The Washington Irrigated Colony in Fresno County, and an ad for Russell's Amalgamator, to save your gold and quicksilver.
