Photograph article dated March 17, 1962 partially reads, “An art passed on from father to son for over a century has captured Ralph Wise, 8, in the longing for perfection which haunts the life of a master silversmith. Already, at his grandfather's shop at 13080 Montague St., Pacoima, young Ralph 'plays' at pounding out small pieces of silver. Watching carefully is Master craftsman Porter Blanchard, 63, his grandfather, who passed the art of fashioning fine silverware on to Ralph's father, Lewis A. Wise, who is himself now a silversmith in his own right." Photograph caption reads, "Mrs. Lewis Wise, daughter of artist displays silverware. Service set is valued at $2500, with punch bowl and ladle another $1500."; See image #00133610 for additional photo in this series.
