Created at The Huntington Library's botanical gardens and featuring James Folsom, Director of the Botanical Gardens, "Mr. Huntington's Garden" spans a ten year period starting in 1995, with new episodes produced monthly for broadcast on public television stations in Southern California. Topics covered: Jim Folsom demonstrates how to make a Christmas wreath, Guest Jerry Turney (curator): camellia garden planting, watering, disease control; Guest Kathy Musial (Curator of Living Collections): red flowering plants during winter, living Christmas trees: Guest Mark McCauley (General Manager) at a local Christmas tree lot, covers age of trees when sold, watering, fire retardants, flocking, recycling.
