Photograph caption dated June 7, 1948 reads, "Confronted with the problem of designing clothes for an authentic schoolteacher, Edith Head, Paramount's ace dress designer went to the source and had two U.C.L.A. students sketch the suits which Loretta Young wears in her latest picture. Miss Head, in addition to making fashion news, doubles by teaching night school classes in designing at U.C.L.A. When Hal Wallis, who is producing Paramount's 'The Accused,' asked Miss Head to get the real 'touch' into a college professor's clothes, Miss Head appealed to her students for aid. As a result, Thomas Wood and Laverne Ashford, two of miss Head's students, will be credited with creating the suits worn by Miss Young, as a psychology teacher, in the suspense drama."
