Photograph article dated January 31, 1963 partially reads, "One of the ten laws of girl scouting reads: "Every girl scout is a sister to every other girl scout." The Melvin Delgado family of Canoga Park has made that law come true, literally, with four girl scout sisters and a mother who trains other adults to be girl scout leaders. Bottom to top, in the photo, that's Brownie Phyllis of Troop 1308, junior girl scout Nancy of Troop 148, cadette girl scout Mollie of Troop 2539, senior girl scout Linda (a scout for 10 years!) of Troop 81, and Mrs. Delgado, who has been elected a delegate to the National Girl Scout Convention in Miami next fall."
