Description: A group in Western costume immerse a woman in a pond using a ducking stool (cucking stool). The event is apparently part of the 1936 Santa Monica "Pioneer Days". Photo 1: shows the woman about to be immersed in the pond. Photo 2: the women is being immersed into the water. Photo 3: another participant is being immersed into the pond with a splash. Three people at the edge of the pond raise their hats to the dunking.
