Photograph was edited for publication purposes Mara Corday was born Marilyn Joan Watts on January 3, 1930 in Santa Monica, California. She was a showgirl, model, actress, Playboy Playmate in the 1950s until she married actor Richard Long and retired to raise their three children. After Long's death in 1974, she returned to acting starting with small parts in several Clint Eastwood films. Photograph caption dated July 16, 1955 reads "Mara Corday, right, Universal-International contract player, presents guide dogs to Shirley L. Gardner, left, and Nancy Heck, on behalf of International Guiding Eyes, Inc., North Hollywood group sponsored by IAM and auxiliary to provide dogs and training free to blind."
