Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Los Angeles City Hall building, ca.1928. The tall Classical-style building can be seen at center. It has a wide base and a tall rectangular tower that tapers to a point at the top. Hundreds of rectangular windows can be seen on the upper floors of the building, while rows of large arch-shaped windows can be seen on the lower floors. Five open archways provide access to a courtyard at center. A wide set of stairs leads from the street to the building entrance in the foreground at center.
